Genuine cuisine, well prepared and tasteful. The menu is not big and it is very appreciated. The fresh home made tartare was a treat and the codfish delicious. The space is familiar, down to the essential and focus on what's on your dish. The staff is just lovely and super friendly. Was a real surprise!

The local sausage is good. Don't order the pork leg. It is not well cooked. Otherwise typical local place. It is not touristic.

If you search a traditional restaurant with a familiar management, this is your place. Very good food and prices. I recommend Bacalhau d'avo to eat

Cute restaurant but average food. Fish was undercooked and garlic on the outside tastes bitter.

For a place named after soup they only had one soup... They served the sheep cheese appetizer with paté, sardines and butter—I’m North American so this was weird for me especially since I don’t eat fish or pâté and putting butter on cheese also seemed odd so this wasn’t really appetizing but maybe this is a European thing that I’m just not accustomed to. I got the small steak with an egg, salad and rice. The rice was bland and the steak was really undercooked for my liking. Not sure why but my whole plate was drenched with water (maybe from the rice?) but it made everything soggy including the steak. I got the rice pudding (not sure what the Portuguese name is) and it was very delicious. Overall, as a North American this spot wasn’t my cup of tea but maybe I’m just not used to authentic Portuguese food. My 2 friends seemed to enjoy their food but also agreed that the the rice was pretty bland.
