About Spencer Becks Estate Agents

We were initially looking at properties inland but came across the stunning property we have bought through the professional help of Valerie and her staff.

We first came over to Portugal for a viewing and were looked after by Ron who was very professional and had a wealth of knowledge about the area which he gladly shown us on virtually a full day out!! topped off with lunch in the village we were moving to ? and an invite to the local bowling alley in the evening where we met lots of other people who had moved to the area. (Had a great night too!!) We returned again with our children for a second visit where we met Valerie, who spent time and had breakfast with us. Valerie also shared her knowledge and experiences she had come across whilst in Portugal. All of which were very encouraging for us to make the move. As we have children of school age it was a massive decision for us to move to this wonderful part of the world.

We have also found Valerie to be totally supportive throughout the whole process. Our moving idea started in February 2020 and with all the covid situation, it is still active into August 2020. Valerie has been totally supportive throughout even if you have a ‘daft’ question, Valerie is there to give you an answer or she will know somebody who knows the answer. We couldn’t of asked to meet a greater team of people to help us find the home we wanted.

We totally encourage anybody who wants to find property to use Spencer Becks!!!

The response from the agents was good with appointments kept on time and OK photos...then nothing, little or no feedback. I contacted Valerie who came out made a realistic evaluation and took photos superior to the other agents. She also described the house in a way that showed off the flexibility of the layout therefore appealing to all types of buyers. What I believe is the strength of Spencer Becks is that they listen and are excellent at matching prospective buyers with exactly the right property.....and always give an honest feedback to the seller following any viewing. So no time wasted for seller and buyer. I sold my house 2 months later at full asking price... Yes I would fully recommend Spencer Becks.
