O Sr. Fado é uma casa de Fados familiar, propriedade da fadista Ana Marina e do violista de fado Duarte Santos, onde pode provar a boa comida tradicional portuguesa, ouvir e cantar um bom fado em agradáveis tertúlias. O Lugar ideal para ouvir o melhor Fado em Lisboa.
Ir ao Sr. Fado é como ir a casa de amigos que nos convidaram para uma refeição e para uns momentos bem passados. Aqui, no Sr. Fado os "amigos" são a D. Ana Marina e o Sr. Duarte Santos,aos quais se juntou agora a sua filha Nádia. Este casal de músicos que decidiram utilizar o Fado e a cozinha tradicional portuguesa como forma de preservação dos nossos costumes, sempre com a hospitalidade e o carinho que caracteriza as nossas gentes.
É a simpatia desta familia que o acolhe á chegada fazendo-o sentir-se em casa e entre amigos. será o Sr. Duarte e sua filha Nádia que serviram os pratos, confecionados no momento pela D. Ana Marina de uma forma simples, rústica, esmerada e muito deliciosa. Após satisfazer o estomago prepare-se para a surpresa e para passar uma noite inesquecível.

Lovely family business that needs reservation in advance.
Food was good, not espetacular. But considering the show, emotions, history and environment it was worth the 45 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic night. I would warmly recommend this to anyone visiting Lisbon. Only 25 seats so make sure you book. Start with some lovely cheese and cold meats with bread olives and wine. Then choose the fishy or meaty dinner. We had the fishy one with large prawns and muscles and fish in a gorgeous bisque full of flavour. Then cheesecake to finish. Then the music starts and they welcome guest players and singers as well as your hosts singing until the early hours. Thank you for. Most enjoyable night with very hospitable and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice experience. The place is run by a family and they make you feel at home. Good food, authentic fado - nice evening. Since the place is small, you'll need to book in advance. The dinner starts at 19.30. Fado lasts till midnight (so it's quite lengthy event overall).

I had been most looking forward to the food, and I was much more than satisfied. Fresh, seasoned beautifully, and clearly made with care. But the owners were a joy too. It didn’t cross my mind that I would have enjoyed the owners as much as I did. Lovely people to talk too. Informative. Interested in you as a guest. Willing to share all about their food, and also what they know of fado.
They’re both great singers. Marina’s voice put shivers down my spine. Quiet and delicate and one point, then suddenly nothing but power and emotion the next. Not a cheap night out, but it was worth every cent.
