Since 2012, we are based in Ericeira, a magic surfing paradise, located on the west Portuguese coast 50 km away from Lisbon. It has been visited by surfers from all over the world since the 70´s and in 2011 Europe’s only World Surfing Reserve.

Carlos and Vania are amazing hosts who take their guests' needs and wishes into consideration. The food at Surf Yoga is excellent and helps the body to refuel after a long surf session. The reason why we kept on returning were the high quality surf lessons. All the teachers that we met at Surf Yoga were very qualified, fun and patient with us and encouraged us on every step (and nose dive) of our surf journey! We liked it that the surfers are put into small groups accoring to their levels so that everybody can get appropriate teaching. We can highly recomend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxed and firendly place to spend their holidays. Vera and Susanna

The surf instructors have become like brothers to be and we regularly stay in contact. The mix between Surf and Yoga extraordinary - and I always end up watching the sunset at the end of a jamm packed day with a smile on my face! Great healthy food, an electric atmosphere (especially on BBQ night, as a fellow Australian, very thrilled with that event). The owners are friendly and are always willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay memorable! I’m already planning to go back - and can’t wait to meet more like minded travels on the next adventure! Obrigado Surf Yoga.

We had realy nice surfsessions with great surfteacher. The Yogaclasses was super nice and i felt verry cared. And one of the most good things was the food. the owners made every day super health fresh food and my body felt so smooth. i can only recommend a stay in Surf Yoga Portugal an i know that i go again. It was one of the best holliday experiences I have ever had and I keep talking about it to all the people around me. Surf Yoga welcome you like a family member and a friend - the care, friendliness and good vibes are beyond words. From your arrival to the airport, through the wonderful yoga practices, the delicious food to the support and coaching during surf sessions - it all goes by too quickly and is pretty close to what feels like paradise. I still feel extremely close to the people I met in Ericeira and know I will return when possible to see them again :-) Vania, Carlos and the whole team have opened a new passion for surfing for me. I have continued surfing since then and it has definitely changed my life and made my relationship to the ocean stronger. If you are thinking about booking - go for it 100%, this might just be one of your best trips yet!

They are doing it from their heart. Experienced and talented surf instructors who can adjust to your level and they will make sure that you are having a good time. I loved the yoga classes with engaged and motivated yoga teachers and of course the delicious, diverse food made with love from seasonal, local vegetables. And I receive the best thai massage! This is the very best place to both start your surfing journey as well as enhance your skills. The place has a wonderful vibe of chill, calmness love and friendship and food is great too!! This is really a perfect retreat.

I was there 3 times - had to say.. it gets better and better every time :) The place and staffs there have really a lot to offer. It makes me feel always welcome and fulfilled. This we haven't talked about the progressive surf classes, excellent and healthy meals, conductive yoga lesson and very comfy bed. I am definitely looking forward to being there again. ♥ PT
