Expectations need to match reality. When booking my car through your website you had a picture of a brand new (and clean) BMW 3 Series. Instead, you gave me a 2018 Lexus with several bangs and scratches and extremely dirty inside. The trunk had even the emergency triangle and vest outside of its official red/orange sleeve. The smart key had no battery which made me use the emergency key for opening and closing the car. In case you want my reservation number, it’s SC5082819. By the way, upon return of the vehicle I conveyed my disappointment to your representative and his answer was: “My job is merely to receive the car. If you have complaints go to the website”. This was my first and last rental of a vehicle with your company.

The price was the winning factor so I wasn't expecting a great service - and I wasn't mistaken - the service wasn't great. The office is not very conveniently located, the lady at the counter was simply rude and the support over the phone when we wanted to extend the hire was painful and unsuccessful as well. Two stars - one for the price, the other for the condition of the car, which was new and comfortable.

A complete disaster. We rented the car through Discover Cars and we payed total coverage. Even though we payed it, they asked us a deposit of 3.000 euros, as we didn't want to pay it, we had to pick the Surprice full coverage (and pay it again) in order to give only a deposit of 200 euros that one week after returning the vehicle they haven't return it yet (and we haven't received any communication from their side). In addition, when picking the car they gave us a Fiat 500 with a signal saying that there were an electric error, and they said that it was normal and they wouldn't change the car. It wasn't until we saw that this error didn't allow us to adjust the mirrors that they found a solution and they changed the car for another Fiat 500 that had the air conditioning broken. We didn't realize that it was broken until we were in the middle of Alentejo, driving at 42ºC, this is completely unacceptable. Some days we were in the car at more than 50ºC and the only solution was to open the windows until the car "cool" to 42ºC. And after all, we are still waiting to receive back our 200€, we don't recommend at all this car rental service.

Our flight was slightly delayed and there was a further delay at passport control. When we came out of the airport we waited around at the meeting point specified by Surprice. There were works going on in the airport and after some time we asked the tourist information for guidance. They told us to wait outside at a place where the car hire minibuses stop. By this time we were told that we had missed the last minibus and there were no further mini buses. Surprices's office closed at 8:00pm so we were left stranded at the airport. Surprice made no attempt to call us while we were in the airport and we had to get a taxi all the way to our holiday stay in Cascais. We then had to return to get the car the next day. This added about 75 euros in taxi fares There was no apology or price reduction. The car itself was nearly new and in great condition and we were pleased with the service once we got going.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! They left me waiting at the airport for two hours, and didn't answer the phone, I kept phoning them over and over again and they didn't come to pick me up. When I landed I phoned and they said they were coming to get me so they knew I was waiting at the airport but just didn't show up for hours. When I finally got the car, they didn't show me around the vehicle, my phone by this point was dead so I couldn't take pictures of the car and they didn't hold the door open for me when I was struggling with my suitcases. I wrote to the manager to complain about my experience and he never replied to me. When I took the vehicle back they charged me $750 euros for a small scratch on the door which had probably been there all along. I can't recommend strongly enough that you DO NOT use this company.

Not a nice experience, won't use it again and would recommend to avoid. On pick-up they tried to put a hold of 2400 euro on CC although the booking confirmation police had much lower amount. To sort this out I had to pay 25/day extra to convert the insurance policy. Then they gave me much bigger car than I requested which appeared to be not a good choice of a car for Lisbon in terms of parking, and for economical reasons as well as it was a diesel SUV. With the city car I requested I would pay twice less for the fuel. Fuel policy is ridiculous too, they gave me the car with 5/8 of the tank. How was I supposed to return it filled to 5/8 exactly, of course I returned it full and they acted like it's okay. Overall it was bunch of little unpleasant surprises, kinda correlates with their name, not in a good way though.

Rented a car from this company- do not rent, I repeat, do not rent from this company. Please please read the reviews from others! Yes, it’s affordable for the initial rental. But you will have unauthorized charges. They now have our credit card on file and they somehow have a “subscription” of our credit card, and have charged our card a month after our trip. They will charge you for anything from a scratch the size of a small hair that already existed to random charges under the name ‘international cars’ long after your rental. …Not to mention the 3 hour wait in the lobby for a very slow staff, but that isn’t the biggest issue.

Even though it was quite a bit longer than normal wait time, I am still assigning 5-Stars. The staffs were polite & prompt. Rented vehicle was clean & worked as expected. The return process was also efficient with no hidden charges nor petty claims of vehicle being damaged here & there. The lady associate that assisted us also recommended the toll transponder, giving us peace of mind driving, touring & enjoying without having to worry about getting stuck at a toll both in a foreign country :-)
