★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't even remember the last time I had such delicious burgers. I ended up there by accident but to be honest I don't regret a single bit. Lovely people working there, and amazingly tasty food.
The burgers are huge and if you're not hungry one is more than enough for two persons. Just add some fries if you're hungry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small bar restaurant served by a friendly couple. The lady speaks English, which was helpful to us. We have been there for food 3 times. It is always cooked to order and therefore hot, which makes a change! We loved the freshly cooked hot chips too. Many thanks for all the extra assistance with advice and information.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, lovely food. Nice wines and they serve sangria in 4 ways. Amazing hamburger selection... like out of a USA vintage diner plus traditional Portuguese petiscos and other dishes. You won't be dissapointed. My only suggestion would be some ambient music and to keep an eye on the room temperature throughout the service.
But ultimately many thanks. Good job team Burguesa!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The server here met us in the street outside of the restaurant and asked us if we preferred to speak in English. We were grateful to him and said yes. He told us we could eat in the restaurant or outside in the courtyard near the church in the square. We chose outside. It was beautiful and the light breeze made the sunny day just perfect. My husband and I both ordered burgers. Mine was a cheeseburger and my husband has the "All In" burger. Both were terrific. The potato chunks/fries were really good as well. Their sauce for the fries is a garlic aoli and was a good accompaniment. Enjoyed the meal and look forward to going back again.
