Horrible experience. Food was mediocre. Arrived at the restaurant and was seated with wine bott’e Opened and charged along with bread (charhwd although not ordered) before they told us that there was 3/4 of the menu not offered. Had we known, we wouldn’t have sat down. Do not recommend.

Takes forever. We waited two hours for the food to arrive. Poor service that seems overwhelmed.

What a find this was, tucked away just off the main pedestrian street in downtown Coimbra. The staff were very pleasant and spoke good English. Four of us entered for a meal but first we just wanted to sit with a drink. No problem. The menu was small, reasonably priced and varied and catered well for our two vegetarian friends. Our meals were freshly prepared and very enjoyable. Don't miss this little gem of a restaurant.

Wonderful Tiny little restaurant. They created a table for us eventhough they were full. The waitress was funny and really friendly. We ordered 3 “tapas” (salad, fried fish and vegetable pastry) and it was absolutely delicious. Plenty of food for just 2 and really well priced ( food, 2 glasses of wine and coffee for €30). Absolute must try!

Very friendly personnel. When we arrived the kitchen had closed for mid day break. They offered to serve us what they could at that time. The 2 dishes we ordered were excellent. The cod fish was served with a smoked meat burger that I thought was fish. Great taste and combination. Served with the vegetables it was a full course meal. The pork and pawns sounded peculiar but once we tried it we could not stop eating. It had a rich gravy made from the meat broth and wine which combined delicately with the fine tasting grilled prawns. We ordered a big green salad, french fries that were cut round discs extra bread for the Devine gravy 4 bottles of beer and a glass of Verde wine (sparkling fresh wine) and paid 54€. They also treated us to a local liqueur. Great tinny little place loaded with taste, good service and big smiles.

New fav place to eat in Coimbra. The tiny fish with a hot sauce and the boar are a 10/10 ??

Small tavern with very good original dishes. The entries that you receive when you sit at your table are NOT FREE ! But the food fantastic !
