★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon arrival we were put on hold on a list. Normal thing for restaurants sought especially on a saturday night. For speed and ease we accept eating at the bar counter. Everything was going well and it wouldn't be my forgotten beer that would get me the good experience. Also it would not be the almost 50 minutes of waiting for a Francesinha. I would still be in a good mood even though I found my dose extremely small compared to other restaurants with the same specialty. I just started to shake my eyes and tensions mounted when the employee answered my humble statement that I don't even remember eating for being so quick to eat with the phrase "it's half a dose and that's what you asked for."
It was worth the food that was really good and that alone can explain to me the success of the house. It also helped the sympathy of the only woman at the counter who should be the person with the most sense of how to run such a business. Finally, such a house can never work without an ATM, we are in 2020. I still hint that the success of other houses was not due to the name chosen (taberna) but only to a set of factors such as consistent professionalism over the years of service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent value for money, good outside esplanade, portions on the larger side, dessert was also lovely. Be prepared tu queue up sometime after 12, popular with the locals.
