Próxima vez que vier a porto, voltarei com certeza. Homemade and wonderful food, I felt very at home, the service was amazing, everyone was very friendly and the price was fair. The french toast was delicious. Next time I come to port, I'll be back for sure.

La familia que lleva el local es muy amable, el hijo habla Inglés. El precio es muy barato para la calidad de la comida. Comimos: 2 francesinhas (con un plato enorme de patatas fritas al centro) muy buenas, una botella de vinho branco maduro, 2 cervezas y un café. También nos sirvieron unos entrantes: pan con mantequilla, queso fresco y aceitunas. Pagamos 22,50€ para dos personas. Ambiente: Es un local de toda la vida, con paredes de piedra y una escopeta colgada. Tiene la tele encendida y acompaña en todo momento mientras se cruzan las conversaciones de los clientes. El detalle: Al llegar, parroquianos y dueños del bar estaban charlando. Los clientes son de la zona y tienen una confianza tremenda. Es un ambiente familiar maravilloso. I came for the reviews and the photos. We ate: 2 very good francesinhas (with a huge plate of french fries in the center), a bottle of ripe vinho branco, 2 beers and a coffee. They also served us some starters: bread and butter, fresh cheese and olives. We paid € 22.50 for two people. Atmosphere: It is a traditional place, with stone walls and a hanging shotgun. He has the TV on and accompanies at all times while the conversations of the clients are crossed. The detail: Upon arrival, patrons and owners of the bar were chatting. Clients are from the area and have tremendous confidence. It is a wonderful family environment.

Really friendly service, nice atmosphere and most importantly excellent 'franchesinha'. A family owned restaurant that does not look like places you find on touristic areas, but where you get the truly authentic experience in Porto.
