Wow is all I can say! What an incredible meal we had here. The owner Suki was amazing, clearly explaining all the dishes while entertaining our 10 month old at the same time. Every dish was beautiful, especially the cod and beef stew. If in Lisbon, you have to go here!

Good food. Only tapas though. Watch out: they charge you for the bread, cheese and olives that are on the table when you come in. They did not mention that beforehand -> 10€ more on the bill than expected.

We came here after the top rated place on Trip Advisor couldn't open due to electrical issues. Taberna Portuguesa served us the best food I have had in Portugal. We had the ribs, the fried vegetables and the spicy sausage. We wanted so much more but we were full after the amazing deserts. Please do go here, it is amazing and they also speak perfect English!

The amazing food is coupled with an amazing host that pretty much “owns” the space and the experience! The food is very hearty - amazing serving dishes - and the place where they procure them as image below

Lovely, quality food. Better to share in groups. Make a booking, or you'll miss out. Foreign cards don't work, so bring cash.

Amazing petiscos, delicious sangria excellent service. What else can you ask for. Love this place it has been our go to in Lisbon for at least 3 years. The food is amazing and the service is second to none. We come back over and over and the experience just gets better. Highly recommendable

A friend tipped me about this place and I'm glad he did! Very tasty meal with a beautiful sunset view and awesome crew! Definitely worth while. I'll be coming here again.

There are better places to eat in Lisbon. The location is good and the restaurant has a potential, but a couple of things ruin the experience. We ordered mushrooms, fish pie and chorizo sausage. The mushrooms were good, the pie average and the chorizo unedible - very dry. The starters are laid on the table even before you sit at the table and of course are overpriced. Overall the prices are higher than average around and taking in account the quality of the dishes, I would say the place is overpriced. Usually I always look if locals eat at the place but this time we were too hungry. So of course the whole restaurant are tourists...
