★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed at!!! Such a beautiful location & views from the dining room, balcony and even most rooms are just stunning. Included breakfast & a full kitchen to cook anything else you want. Whole place is really clean and well looked after. I couldn’t fault it. The ladies running the place are both so delightful and are more than happy to help with directions, tours and even booking things on your behalf. And feels like a family home, so relaxed and such a good vibe. Also loved the dog.
I will absolutely be back, I wish I stayed longer.
Obrigado, Tag hostel !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here 10 nights and would happily stay again!
Very clean, breakfast was included (basic but it was fine to get you started for the day), the location was perfect. Really quirky hostel with banging views from dining and outdoor social area.
All the staff are really friendly and extremely helpful with tips and places to go. Just tell them your plans and they're most than happy to help!
We didn't use the kitchen much as we crammed so much in we never found time to cook our own food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice view, the nights are a little bit loud but ok.
Team was great, only the Toiletts for a 6,2ft Person to small. One of the worst Toiletts ive ever seen!
Got a little lunchpack at our Checkout

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I give a 3 not a 4 or 5 because (1) we're very well treated indeed (2) the place is perfectly located in city center (3) beautifull views but... (1) not very clean at all: rooms, shared rooms and restrooms (2) too crowded, over 40 guests for 1 little tiny kitchen and 3 bathrooms and (the worst I felt) me and my kid were placed in a room next to a bathroom but didn't allowed to use it, need to go down/climb up huge stairs to use another one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good hostel in an excellent location. Felipa and the rest of the staff were wonderful as well. An excellent base for wandering around the beaches and streets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My opinion. I stayed there one night.
The hostel seems to be very tidy. The owner / manager Filipa is very friendly, but also seems to be very strict and careful to communicate your house rules clearly. At check-in, she makes it clear that it is not a party hostel and that a lot of emphasis is placed on quiet, respect and cleanliness.
All in all, that's good.
What I completely fail to understand, however, is what a huge dog is doing in a hygienic place like the kitchen. I am really an animal lover, but a dog that feels like the stature of a wolf and smells so much and has long hair has no place in the kitchen. I wouldn't say anything if strict house rules are not communicated beforehand.
Furthermore, I was told rules that it was not a party hostel. On the night I stayed at two o'clock in the morning, the other hostel visitors came home and made such a noise by talking loudly and screaming that it was not possible to sleep at short notice.
Regarding the rooms, it can be said that the rooms, especially the dorms, are really very, very spartan and carelessly furnished. The showers and sanitary facilities are clean, but much too small in my opinion.
In my opinion, it did not live up to the claim that Filipa conveyed at check-in that night. The biggest downside, however, is the long-haired dog in the kitchen and the loud party people. Although, in my opinion, the clearing of house rules is consciously mentioned.
The location of the hostel is really good. Not far to the beach and also very central to restaurants and the bus station.
All in all, I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hostel and staff. Beds are comfortable and nice view of the water from the room. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Filipa is a sweetheart and was extremely helpful in planning my activities around this area. Nice breakfast in the morning and a nice roof to chill in the evening. Met several other travelers there and had a great time altogether. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lagos! 5 stars!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked this hostel at the last minute and it was a fantastic hostel. However there was specifics regarding the Covid siutation (masks) personally it wasn't for me however the host Filipa was extremely accepting of my world view and I was able to cancel and find something more suitable. I am very appreicative of the host being understanding and accommodating, speaks volumes. 5*
