Tânia é uma coleccionadora de histórias. Memórias gravadas pela Natureza - folhas, sementes, conchas, fósseis, troncos - Matéria orgânica sujeita à entropia.

Tania Gil nasceu em Lisboa em 1981 e cresceu em Porto Covo, uma pequena aldeia no litoral alentejano. Assim que termina a sua licenciatura em design industrial no IADE (1999-2003) vai em busca do seu sonho de menina e entra na escola de joalharia Contacto Directo (2004-2009) onde descobre o vasto e belo universo nesta área.
Actualmente divide o seu tempo entre Lisboa, cidade onde trabalha, e a costa alentejana onde encontra paz e inspiração para o seu trabalho.As suas viagens pelo Mundo são também uma fonte de inspiração, novas culturas, cores, cheiros. Perde-se no tempo enquanto observa, fotográfa e recolhe elementos da Natureza, a principal fonte de inspiração para as suas “jóias” ou “objectos usáveis" como prefere chamar.

Tania is talented designer so if you are in need of a gift for the other half or the other half loves jewellery this is a great place to visit. Lovely restaurants and coffee shops also nearby.

The staff there were so accomodating when I asked for a longer chain plus the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to friends or family who visit Lisbon!
