★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure how this can be averaging 4.5 stars at the time we ate there today. We had the sea food pan for two, some of the stuff was dry and over cooked while some pieces of fish were half raw. Before that started with gazpacho which was a sort of pico de Gallo in tomato juice, chunks of veggies instead of regular soup with blended stuff. Fresh and ok but just strange the way it comes. Nice friendly service even if we ended up spotting stuff on the bill that we didn’t order or ate. I guess this can happen but didn’t help the overall experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten here many times over the past 5 years and never had a bad experience. Good food, ice cold beer and friendly service. Looking forward to enjoying again in May.... Drinks, sundowners, meals and late night coffee. Not to mention the subsets over the light house!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most perfect 'early' dinner on Friday night before the crowds. The food was exceptional and the service even better! Highly suggest the snacks for 2. Great way to experience the different offerings! Thank you Joao for a perfect date night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is great for families with children who want to run around since there is a lot of space which is not always common in the smaller restaurants in town.
Generally, the food was not terrible but all in all not good either. We had three different meals, of one was so salty we couldn't finish it and the other one was overcooked. Bread, olives, etc. as a starter were okay but quite small for the price. There are definitely better restaurants in Cascai (but make sure to reserve upfront!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tuna steak was really good, the octopus was extremely tender and meaty, super juicy and done to perfection. The starter to share, with option of cheeses, sausages, alheira was perfect so we could try some different things amongst the 4 of us.
We drank the sangria, which was lovely, and the lady that took our orders was super helpful, giving us tips on what to order, and how much food would be too much food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Padron peppers were lovely as were the chips/crisps. We found the octopus salad and prawns very tough (not as fresh as we expected).
That being said, the gentleman that served our table was lovely and cheerful. He was so helpful.
We had room for desert. Brownie with compote and ice cream. Loved it
