★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Óbidos it’s one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal.. the streets are so charming and beautiful, small cafes and smiling people welcome you. Tasca Torta it’s a tiny and cozy restaurant located in the heart of the town, the decoration is simply stunning. the chef recommend me on the cod fish, it was unbelievable so delicious so fresh, we also drink great local white wine that was excellent. The meal was perfect.. all the staff (3 people) was so friendly and helpful.
Go visit there !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small intimate Restaurant easily overlooked in a street of restaurants especially as at first glance as it may look a little 'fast food'.
However the menu tells a different story, beautiful crafted and presented dishes bursting with flavour.
Great service in English if required by visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing homemade food. With vegetable options/emphasis. Hard to believe how good our veggie spaghetti was, lasagne with beef & spaghetti with beef & extra vegetables. Great hidden gem in Obidos! One of our best meals yet. Ordered an extra spaghetti & meat sauce to take away.homemade tomato sauce, wonderful flavors. Really a gem in Obidos. Especially if you want something creative and expanded on traditional Portuguese food. Go to the main tourist road. Turn right. It will be hidden on your left. So worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dear oh dear…go if you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind overpaying for small portions. We sat down at 19.30. Orders were taken 15 mins later and drinks arrived at 20.00. Food arrived 1 hour and 15 mins after we sat down. Pork loin that was dry and tasteless, watered down by the salad dressing. Cod loin decent but not worth the wait or the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here on a Sunday evening and it was EXCELLENT. We had 3 courses: bread (you receive two different kind of breads) with olives and oil, main was the cod with corn bread topping (delicious! And you can choose 2 of ~5-6 sides), and for dessert we had some pear-compote and chocolate cake (it was more like some mousse au chocolate with some crispy biscuit!) - the combination of fruit and chocolate is awesome. Everything was really on point if not exceeded our expectations.
The service was really kind too, so we felt really taken care of well. Would always come back!
The only thing is: they could really add some decoration to the tables. Or a candle ;)
