★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here you can find some of the most typical Portuguese dishes in a old "tasca" environment .
I recommend the Cod Braga’s Style ,Cod in Cream Sauce, The Duck Rice , The Veal Oven , the house Steak .
The deserts are very good also .
All the dishes are usually for two people (1 Dose) unless you refer for one (Meia Dose).
Staff is friendly.
This is not a sofisticated place , just a typical one .
Prices are very good and its llocated near the city center.

The place is special, picturesque, old style, traditinal charming kind of Portuguese restaurant, the whole place is a bit closed, like a "tasca" but it breathes originality.
The food!! Excelent, traditional, as it should be, no funny business, just good ingredients, carefull preparation and... Voilá! Excelent food! I had the duck rice and my colleague the cod fish Braga style, both very good, the deserts, again on the traditional side, won't let you down.
Sympathy is very much so on the high side and prices are reasonable, I don't see any reason not to try out this amazing place...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bacalhau à Braga was very simple, yet it was delicious and not as salty as you would expect cod-fish to be. The staff was very kind and, overall, the ambience was lovely, mostly people from the area, small wooden tables and stools. busy during lunchtime but still able to enjoy my lunch without the craziness of a busy restaurant. So happy to have tried this gem.
Would totally come back and recommend this place!!
