★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much for positive reviews. Very bad food. The tapas sausages was disgusting. It literally swam in it own fat. But it all started with the very burned garlic bread. Looked like supermarket food and tasted exactly like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 15 minutes to get the order taken on a quiet evening. 30 minutes more to get the first tapas plate. Not what we ordered. OMG 45 minutes to get a cheese plate. Cold empanada like things filled with the wrong whatever. Disgusting. So we left to find another cafe. Wish us luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t understand the good reviews.
Tasteless food. It ruined my last night in Tomar.
To never go back…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice tapas from 3 different types of chouriço and toasts. Farinheira with honey is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely authentic tavern, feels like you've stepped back to the time of the Templars. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and so are the staff, and the food is always excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious tapas and bruschettas and desserts. Lots of different cheese dishes too. If you are only two people rather order the bruschettas as the tapas dishes come with lots of bread, alternatively ask them to limit the bread. I can highly recommend the baked Tomar Camembert and the Requeijão dessert with walnuts and pumpkin jam.... Delicious. Nice friendly service too. They do not have a card machine so bring cash or pay with MBway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Following on our Templar discovery route: we visited Taverna d'Talha and enjoyed lovely tappas amongst others a whole ovenbaked camembert with honey & mustard and toast for dipping @ €5. Great local, medal awarded wine drunk out of a clay mug which fitted the venue and our Templar voyage nicely. A ginja as a farewell drink on the house. Great waiters and good music completed our outing.
