Lovely Guest House! Met at the doors with a welcoming drink on the quaint terrace. Morracan touches throughout. Very friendly helpful staff. Great location in a lovely little village. Great place to recharge.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Catherine, Christophe and the team are so friendly and helpful. The warm personal welcome, the beautiful and spotless room, the generous and imaginative breakfasts, and the perfect location made this a memorable visit.

Perfect place, very nice terrace and amazing breakfast. The rooms have aircon and our room had a small balcony as well. They offer different types of exercursions, we didn't try any, but I guess they would all be worth a try. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is very good as well. Best place in Tavira!

We had to check-in for one. night due to a power problem at our own apartment. Big mistake, the main issue and it is a big issue is that the rooms are damp. You can smell it when you go through the front being disguised with candles however the rooms much worse. Do not unpack clothes as they will be damp in the morning. For health reasons be very careful. It is a shame as there are a some nice people there and the main sitting room looked nice. I don't know what was paid for the 1 night stay however I would not stay at any cost. Very bad experience.

My wife and I had an amazing experience here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel has a lot of character, is spotlessly clean and the patios are great spots to relax and have a glass of wine. We were sad to go and would definitely go back!

The only disappointment with this hotel was that our guide book (Lonely Planet) indicated that it had a plunge pool but it wasn't operational and the rooftop terrace needed some new furniture and sunshades as some of it was quite worn out. Otherwise, the hotel is in a good location within 5 minutes walk of the old town. The breakfast was tasty and the room and bathroom were of a decent standard, although the mezzanine area in the suite is not made for tall people.

We had a fantastic time at Tavira House in early August 2021. Two great rooms, one with a roll-top bath in the room itself. Mena (Filomena) could not have been more welcoming, and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. The street is quiet, with parking often outside the door. It leads directly to the roman bridge and the centre of town in a few minutes' walk, as well as the ferry to Tavira Island beach. The reception rooms are grand, with balconies overlooking the street. Breakfast was great, with baskets of bread and pastries, and plates of cut fruit and cheese and ham, plus freshly-squeezed orange juice and tea and coffee.
