R	Rosie Vitoriano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor, very poor customer service, 2nd time now we go there and very disappointed, been there last year around 5 time, food was good and service too, last time good was very average, today we decided to have another go. Ridiculous extremely poor customer service, arrived there, saw a attendant on my way from the toilet, greeted her , but nothing been totally ignored ( was a corredor e nearly touch each other), she came back minutes later again no greetings, but told us to wait for a table, waited another 10 minutes and been showed a table, sat for around 20 minutes with bread and water, no one come to take any order. She than come and took the order but not took to the kitchen straightaway, we decided to leave. 45 minutes in there and we left with a small bottle of water, and some bread. No coming back and not recommend
A	Ajo Kubo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly dissapointing experience, while the food was OK and the place very nice the service was shocking. The waiters were completely disinterested in the diners, they brought our wine and forgot to open it, they took forever to come when called and then looked as if we were bothering them for service. They forgot to bring one of our dishes, I only got it after urging and after most of our party finishes eating. This is one of the best restaurants around this area thus one would expect a good experience all round, unfortunately we were very very dissapointed and we have noticed that guests at another table weren't impressed either, not a good day in the life of Restaurante Taxo.
A	Ale Vange on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place, beautiful decorations, the front of house staff very welcoming and able to satisfy every need, being aswell well prepared on food questions, the wine they gave us was superb. The food was very nice, although is the one that was a bit behind considering all of the other aspects. Was missing that extra touch I would personally love to see in such a good contest. I recomand it for a romantic dinner, but not for a fine dining experience. Overall very very good definitely coming back.

N	Nick Beagin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived a bit nervous as it was just as lockdown was easing and it was the first time we had eaten out. The staff were all really sweet and made us feel welcome and we had a nice meal. Our Portuguese is rubbish but the set menu is in English and the waiter spoke English too. I ordered at random and had a nice lamb chop while oh had tuna with capers. The tuna was huge! My chop was too.. just about got through it all and it was really nice.. a different cut than I am used to but very tasty. The wine was excellent, a local variety and the beer cold!

Only negative is the tv in the dining room. Personal distaste.. as it is distracting from the otherwise lovely ambience.
