It is a beautiful, traditional restaurant that breathes Portugal in every detail. I loved the experience and Jaime is a delightful person always ready to give advice for the most delicious food and drinks.

I think it's impossible to leave hungry especially because all the ingredients are of a high quality and the dishes combine both elegant taste and comfy homey kind of feeling. As for me the best part was a very nice treatment we got here, staff have always made sure we liked everything. To top it off they made a vegetarian dish that wasn't on the menu and made sure I was satisfied with it. And of course the interior is special to say the least, you can dine right in the wine cask, I think that's an enough of a reason to visit this place.

I give 5 stars for all of what I said above, but I also remind people this is not a modern style of restaurant. Our experience was positive, and we are sharing it here.

The food is well seasoned and very tasty and the wine options are very good too. The service is friendly and fast despite the restaurant being full when we've been there. The decor is inspired and goes well with the food they serve. Definitely worth the visit.

Food was one of the best I ever had and the portions are realy big. If you are not hungry you can take one plate and share. The owner of the restaurant is. ery helpful and polite. Recomendinv this place if you are passing Vila Real town

The service and the owner are incredibly friendly! The food is spectacular! We had the octopus and the steak and both were amazing! And the prices are really good too. far from being a tourist trap. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.
