A lot to say on this hotel: first it is the hotel of the hostelry school of Porto. So the team is extremely young and enthusiast, the service is close to perfect (the tiny mistakes made by the students are so cute). The gastronomic restaurant is worth the detour, 2 formulas (we have been there this week). 5 or 7 dishes. For dinner 5 dishes is more than enough. The chef will surprise you. Logistics: 500 m from metro Bolhao, room are really large, breakfast perfect.

So so... the staff is inexperienced but that's fine unless critical mistakes are done. I'm celiac and they ask for food allergies before serving. One of the dishes came with a bread toast in it. Also, they repeated the same dish 3 times and we had to say it was repeated. Food was good but not awesome. Not sure I will come back. Worth as new experience but probably not as regular place to go.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and modern, the staff was over the top helpful, and the food was amazing! We have to recommend the "moments" tasting menu, where the restaurant creates 5, 7 or 9 small exquisite appetizers that accompany your main course. It was spectacular, and our waiter Rodrigo was friendly and suggested excellent wine and port pairings. It is true that it is staffed by unpaid students who are completing the work experience portion of their education program, but you can always tip with some cash if you feel the service has been exceptional. All in all, at this small hotel we felt pampered, important and spoiled...a nice departure from more standard hotels with hundreds of rooms and guests. We will recommend this place to anyone who is planning a visit to Porto.

I had a wonderful experience on restaurant. The food was amazing, carefully prepared and with all the flavours of Porto. The staff, students from the school, did a great job explaining all details on the dish. It's a little bit far from the night life movida, but in the end it's good walking on quite streets of Porto. I loved.

I stayed at the hotel with a group of ladies last week and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived the staff where friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The food was excellent and the rooms large, clean and had everything we needed. I will definitely go back to it.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to a list in TripAdvisor, mainly because we were staying next door. We decided to give it a shot. I can't describe how good it was. From the beginning until the end. The service was extremely friendly, especially Margarita! Her smile made the whole evening even better. Artur was also very friendly and attentive. The food... just incredible! Every course was a perfect mix of colours and flavours. An interesting thing is that you don't know what they're going to serve you, thus they'll ask you about allergies at the beginning. The menu will definitely be great, so don't sorry about it ;) After our visit, we discovered that this restaurant is run by students. I sincerely cannot believe the level of cooking of these guys. They're surely going to be the next great chefs of Portugal! I will definitely go there again as soon as I have the chance to visit Porto again. Thank you very much for the great evening!❤️

All staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. The facilities throughout were first class and a clear 4 star standard. The cool, stylish corridors provided a real feeling of calm and peace. Our room (112) was large, well- equipped and spotlessly clean. The kettle and large mugs for tea were much appreciated after a long, hot day in the city. As it was the holidays there were no students in the hotel so it was the permanent staff on duty. Breakfast service on one morning was disappointing with a 20 minute wait for coffee and a further wait for milk. However, any negative feelings were completely assuaged by the wonderful 9 course taster dinner on our last night. each course was exceptional in flavour and presentation. The wines complimented each one and to have the chef present and explain each course in person completed the fabulous experience. A perfect ending to a wonderful stay!

What a great experience. Location difficult to find because of one way streets but once found we were greeted by front desk warmly and helped with our bags. Our room was spacious and clean. Bathroom really good size and nice amenities. Loved the artwork throughout hotel. Do try the dinner in restaurant. We had five course surprise dinner and wow our expectations were certainly fulfilled. EXCELLENT. Best service, ambience and food. So glad we tried. It was really fun being served surprise courses and not one was a disappointment. Hotel a bit out of busy central areas but saved a bit for a great time overall. ,
