J	Janneke Mulder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trek tenminste twee weken uit om de volle Fungalow Experience te ervaren! Wij waren er 4 dagen. Dit was echt te kort. Heerlijk geslapen in de Ibiza-kamer (met op verzoek feromonen). Fantastisch ontbijt met echte Portugese ‘galao’ en sunny sides-up. Gastheer P. wijst je naar alle goeie strandtentjes in de regio. Gastdame M. kent alle goeie shopadressen. Na kids-entertainment met marshmallow-bbq was er een perfect georganiseerde feestavond voor de volwassenen. De dj ging van UB40 tot 90’s hiphop naar de fijnste après skihitjes (‘Die immer lacht’). Caiparinhas waren op een gegeven moment wel op, maar dat was dan ook echt het enige minpuntje ;-) Volgend jaar weer! Allow at least two weeks to experience the full Fungalow Experience! We were there 4 days. This was really too short. Slept wonderfully in the Ibiza room (with pheromones on request). Fantastic breakfast with real Portuguese 'galao' and sunny sides-up. Host P. points you to all the good beach bars in the region. Guest lady M. knows all the good shopping addresses. After kids entertainment with marshmallow BBQ there was a perfectly organized party night for the adults. The DJ went from UB40 to 90's hip-hop to the finest après ski hits ('Die immer lachen'). Caiparinhas ran out at one point, but that was really the only downside ;-) Next year again!
L	Laura Seckel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fungalous! Een heerlijke plek, genoten van het terras en de buitenkeuken aan het zwembad. Vraag de gastheer zeker om zijn verrukkelijke cocktails! Je kunt er genieten van de rust, ruimte en het uitzicht en je bent ook zó op het strand en in Lissabon! Bon bon bon!!! Absolutely fungal! A lovely place, enjoyed the terrace and the outdoor kitchen by the pool. Be sure to ask the host for his delicious cocktails! You can enjoy the peace, space and the view and you are also on the beach and in Lisbon in no time! bon bon bon!!!

Tevens mooie uitvalsbasis voor een actieve mountainbike vakantie. ‘s Ochtends wakker worden met een bakkie op het sunrise terrace en ‘s avonds de zon zien ondergaan met een vinho verde bij de vuurschaal. Het enige waar je je hier druk om hoeft te maken is op welk strand je vandaag gaat lunchen… Great place to stay, fully equipped and excellent hospitality! Also a nice base for an active mountain bike holiday. Waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee on the sunrise terrace and watching the sun set in the evening with a vinho verde by the fire bowl. The only thing you need to worry about here is which beach you are going to have lunch at today…

S	Suzanne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tastefully decorated rooms, beautiful views and exeptionally hospitable and fun hosts. Kids entertainment on request, topnotch GTs by the pool & perfect food as well. Try the chili con carne, it’s awesome! The Fungalow, the funtastic hotspot for a fungalicious holiday!

Owner is also very receptive to feedback: the clear lack of a beamer has apparently been solved! Looking forward to drink my caipirinha's next year while enjoying a good karaoke via the beamer!
w	willem blom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Fungalow is a hidden gem, off the beaten track near Ribamar on the Portuguese Silver Coast. It boasts spectacular views of the surrounding with the sounds of the sea in the background. The Dutch owners are amazing. They cater to any need and went out of their way to accomodate us. They were even able to veganize every meal we had. The gin & tonics are the best in the region. Especially when served next to the fireplace with the delicious homebaked bread from the neighbour. We had a funtastic time and will definitely book again!
