Simple and nice. Great idea for the city centre revitalisation. In the otherwise terrible low-class-consumer hell of Portimão, this place is a true gem

Passed by this place while looking for a place for dinner, and decided to come back for dessert. The pastries are made fresh and were very delicious. The lady at the counter was really friendly and helpful, translating what all the various options were. Highly recommended.

The service was terrible unwelcoming. I know he had a mask on, but the whole body language just said he didn't want to be there. Twice, when I came in and said 'good afternoon', I got no response, hardly looked up at me and my friend. Then, when I asked if we could sit, I got no reply either. Very strange manners and customer service. Won't go back. Unfortunate, because actually the 'Bolo Real da Isabel' was to die for.... Superb! Obviously I left no tip. I even tried to 'make conversation' about this Christmas time and the lovely sweet things they do to order, but even that didn't take his stinking bad energy away. What a pity.....

An old school bakery where you can see the staff cutting the fruit they will use on the pastry. The decorations, the staff, the "no-wifi" set-up, and the furniture gives you the perfect experience. We had a house tea, which tasted amazing. As for the cakes, the selection is too vast to give suggestions, so just go and choose what your eyes want to have. Enjoy!

These pastries are among the best (if not the best) I tried in the past 4 years I visited Portugal. The taste is subtle, though fully flavored, just as I like it. The inside of this place is very stylish and respects the traditional portuguese style. I recommend trying D. Rodrigo.

Lovely facade building! Great delicatessen/ confectionary in the heart of Portimão. The lovely lady behind the counter is very helpful and can provide recommendations.

A confectionery we always visit if in Portimão. The “garganta de ferreira” (nun’s throat) dessert is my all time favourite. Other Algarve desserts are totally delicious too.
