We stayed at the little wine house during our trip to Portugal and loved it. The garden has a great view and has a relaxing atmosphere, the pool is excellent to cool down in on a hot summer day. The house itself is fully equipped and recently renovated and is great base for exploring surrounding regions. We definitely recommend this!

A little piece of heaven is the only way to describe this beautiful cottage. Colin and Maria have though of everything . The cottage has everything you need and they even provided a much appreciated welcome pack for our arrival.The garden is the perfect place to relax and has plenty of shady areas when it gets too warm. Colin and Maria are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay in their lovely cottage. Highly recommend

Heaven is a place on earth at the Little Wine House. It’s a modern and elegant renovation of a little country property; you never forget you’re in Portugal in the most tasteful and refined way. Spotlessly clean and well kept. Colin & Maria were so helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay, but never intrusive; while the Little Wine House is attached to their main residence, we didn’t hear or see them at all, it felt like a little oasis of our own. A well equipped kitchen (including oil, salt, pepper, coffee/tea) made cooking all 4 nights of our stay a breeze. It was easy to stay entertained with the offerings of games, books, TV, and of course the garden & plunge pool. I think we spent most of our time on the patio or in the pool reading and enjoying the private, quiet countryside views. Though, in the heat of the day we took refuge indoors watching a few episodes on Netflix in the air conditioning. Colin & Maria’s 2 kitties would come say hello around dinner time and provide some additional live entertainment while we ate al fresco! Also seems kid-friendly: there were little inflatable toys for the pool, and plenty of luscious grass to run around in. Bedrooms & bathrooms were appropriately sized, given all your time will be spent where the living room blends seamlessly to the patio & garden. Our only regret is that the Little Wine House has spoiled us, and all future vacations will pale in comparison to this little oasis. Hope to return again someday soon, cannot recommend highly enough!
