One of the best seafood restaurants in cascais area. A must have is the shellfish rice, it’s amazing. Also has Great fresh fish, and that view... just splendid!

We were 3 families dining. First of all, one of the workers we met outside told us they open back at 7 pm, but when we arrived we were told it was 7:30 pm. They were nice enough to let us in at 7 pm though. The staff speaks very little English, part of the menu is in English, some sections only in Portuguese. The food was dry and everything drenched in a lot of oil. We were brought 2 shrimp salad appetizers, 2 baskets of bread, 2 octopus salads (I would rate the octopus salad 4/5 compared to other 3 restaurants we had the same salad). We neglected to ask if the appetizers were complimentary, so when we received a bill there was a charge of 85 euros for appetizers we did not ask for (out of the 350 euros bill). After an argument some of the charge was dropped, but it was very unpleasant and both the manager and server were very rude and arrogant about it. We were told that if "you eat it you pay for it, if you do not touch it, you are not charged". We had seafood platter with rice, veal scallops, grilled Sol (it was ok), 2 different soups (they were good), fried Cod and they were all swimming in oil. Again, we were told "this is the Portuguese way". We have been to several restaurants ordering similar or same dishes and never we had so much oil. The servers tried hard to explain about the dishes, using limited English, but we were not impressed with their recommendations. To sum it up, there is much better food to be had in the area, twice less expensive and better taste.

Incredible! The wine suggestions are customized (even off menu) and through a series of tastings just to get to your glass. The cheese plate for 2 is beautiful and amazing. Staff is lovely--great experience.

One of the best typical Portuguese food restaurant around the Cascais Coastal line. Top notch staff - friendly, welcoming, polite and very experienced/professional The environment is very chilled and you feel very relaxed despite the high class service and food. Highly recommend fish and seafood. Ask the waiter what’s the freshest on the menu and recently caught. Personal Favourite Starter Amêijoas a Bulhao de Pato Camarão ao Alho Main Any fresh fish, grilled with sautés vegetables and potatoes White Wine

we had such a wonderful meal. Arroz de Mariscos, Pork cheek with red wine sauce and the lamb were all simply delicious. We also had a mixed salad that was divine. But oh, the desserts! Cheesecake and the coconut cake, fabulous and the server was wonderful, he was so sweet. Unforgettable. We just couldn’t have had a nicer meal with better company. Highly recommend after a day exploring or surfing, delicious wine, food and company. The port wine at the end was the perfect finish. 10/10. Everyone at Toscano obviously takes so much pride in their food and it really shows, ingredients are top notch ^____^ thank you!!!
