★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a relaxing trip to Lisbon, don't forget to take one of the (very inexpensive) ferries shuttling the work force across the Rio Tajo. We would recommend the short trip to Cacilhas, bringing you ever closer to the huge Cristo Rei statue dominanting the river banks. Boats depart frequently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferries leave every 15 minutes and it is easy to get tickets. My biggest complaint is that I wish the ride lasted longer and you could go on the deck. The tops of the windows open a bit for photos. 1.85 euros one way!
