★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couverts! Although a tradition in this country; having both amuse and dessert covers charged at 32 eur is just a tacky and insulting, tourist-trap tactic. Why would you put petit fours on the table with coffee and not explain they were chargeable?! We just thought it was good service. If left a very sour taste after an otherwise very delicious meal. Making money short term to lose the long term value of a loyal customer = Management fail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good restaurant located in a very nice Quinta do Lago resort ?. Inside or outside sitting with view to a lovely quiet swimming pool.
Although, in my view, there is some room for improvement on what concerns the restaurant styling (somewhat outdated), I must give a 4 stars on the food and service quality. Porc 'secretos', African rice, Fillet Mignon...perfection achieved ?
Multi-lingual table service (also dutch)
