★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From an international student perspective, I can say that I found my experience at UMinho very unsatisfactory. First amd foremost, because of the very ineffective work of Academic Services and Administration, who do not do their part of the job and just create obstacles. Unfortunately, they are incapable of providing quick assistance to students and they put off solving a problem for months! They forget transferring your grades to the students' portal, one has to wait for months to get a student number and oficially 'enroll' to the university, etc. Now I have to wait for my diploma. I have already been waiting for four months and god knows when I will receive it. I find this kind of attitude absolutely outrageous and also negatively influencing the potential of international research colloboration. What a shame and disorganisation!
