 Very attentive staff. Pleasant facilities with distinction to the rooms, comfortable. Breakfast very well provided. Ideal hotel for service trips with emphasis on quality/price. To repeat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, clean and for friendly price. Breakfast with an ordinary choice - bacon, eggs, sausages, cheese, corn flakes etc. The location is approx. 3 km from metro station and 1 km from a beach.

Food marvellous, a good variety, plenty for both the continental traveller or the filling 'Good Breakfast' type.
Room spotlessly clean, each and every day.
Nice quite spot ,away from main routes.
Nice aspect from balcony looking onto a delightful garden.
Not far from the center of Povoa, and if you like a walk, I walked there everyday, easy. Marks 10 out of 10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About Varzinn Hotel... I went there with my girlfriend and we are two youngsters in love. We don't own a drivers license and we are not that wealthy.
First things first. It is a very beautiful hotel and for 3 stars, the bedrooms, at least the normal duplex, were comfortable and cosy. Really enjoyed my time there. They had mini fridge, unfortunately didn't had bathtub but the shower area was as big as necessary and they offered coffee, tea and biscuits on the room. For a 55 euros bedroom, without forgetting the comfortable beds, it is something incredible on a quality-price ratio.
They had public areas, but those i prefer to not talk about because, in covid time, I prefer private places. The one and only public place I will talk about is the hotel's eating room since i ate there my breakfast. It was a normal breakfast where you choose but you want but they serve you. The area has the necessary space and the food was pretty good for a 3 star hotel.
The only reason I didn't gave it a 5 star rating is for its placement. The best thing that it is close is the supermarket. However, if you come by metro, its almost a 40 minute walk. There is nothing of interest nearby, and by that I say, in less than a 30 minute walk. For restaurants, there was only one on the facilities and the beach was a 10 minutes walk to there.
If you have a car, this place is a must go for a place in Póvoa de Varzim. But if you prefer an hotel nearby the other facilities like the casino ou the commercial portion, you can still think about this hotel, but I would go somewhere else.
In sum, i really enjoyed the time I was there and i recommend it to everyone that enjoys what I just wrote.
