Great aquarium and museum. Built in the late 19th century but still very current. Koy lake outside with the possibility of buying food to feed the fish. Great for kids.

For the price, it’s excellent!!! The fish and the animals (the reptile room is a bit hidden so look for it) are so cool and diverse, and the museum is very interesting! Well worth a trip!

This aquarium is a surprise. It seems a very small place, but there is a great collection. It starts with the last king of Portugal, D. Carlos. He was a curious man that went to the see hunting the wild life of the Atlantic ocean. There's a lot of live dishes too and another fascinating creatures. I loved it.

Loved this vintage and historic space! Great price, interesting sea life to see, and virtually unknown, which means it doesn't attract crowds. For littles, they have step stools with handles that parents can carry around for the kids to get up on to see into the aquariums and exhibits. There are also fish ponds outside and for 0,50 cents you can buy fish food and feed them ;-)

Cheap entrance, had lot of fun. I learned so much more about sea close to Lisbon and Portugal. Had some fish inside within aquarium section. But nothing enormous or gigantic. Everyone must go and see for once.

This old aquarium (opened more than 120 years ago) still has a lot of charm and it is extremely educational. It is a great place to take your kids and show them a lot of species that line in the rivers and seas. Currently is going through a major renovation with some empty tanks and some closed areas. Still, it is a great place to visit. Parking is available and it is free on Sundays.

Aquarium and museum a bit out of center, so not a lot of tourists but lit of local families. The visit was very nice except for the screams of babies and kids. They have a broad collection.

Outstanding hidden gem which should be a must-visit for everyone! This amazing aquarium and museum in one really captures the imagination and gives one a sense of wonder for natural history. Don't skip the Amazing interactive ocean wall and also be sure to spend some time feeding the koi fish, great fun! The Coffee Shop and rest rooms are also really good.
