M	Mariana Domingos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place, we just eat appetizers but they were amazing, the croquete was amazing as well as the seafood, the deserts are also really, really good. I can't wait to go back and have a proper meal.

Beverages handling: They will keep the beverage bottles apart in an iced bucket (nice) but won't refill until we asked a couple of times. Worst part: bucket was shared w other tables and they had no idea which bottle was ours or theirs.... /facepalm #covid? Pretty sure our water bottle was drank by another table, surprise how 1L served once and over half of it disappeared...
S	Suzane De Jesus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon this restaurant whilst strolling along the sea front, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ate the tuna, which was perfectly seared. The service is very good and the terrace has shelter so it's possible to eat here amidst the Covid restrictions and whilst it's raining. The view is gorgeous so it's worth a trip to this restaurant.

Also, very pushy in making you buy things you don’t want. Apart from that, the location is nice and food is good though overpriced. But they should change their mentality !
D	Dania Danciu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food in a very nicely decorated restaurant. Not sure if it’s a typical Portuguese restaurant. It definitely has a wide range of meats and cheeses, however some of the main dishes have a Portuguese Japanese mix, of course they have some steak and salads. We went there for lunch and to be honest for all the food that we had, fried shrimps with garlic, tuna sashimi with sweet potato fries and steak with fried egg and fries, it was not that expensive, taking into account also the location, very close to the Belém Tower, the very nice interior and the nice waitress who spoke well English. All dishes were very tasty, i guess we couldn’t have made a better choice, very nice impressed, well done to the chef. I highly recommend it, especially in a hot summer day.

N	Nataliya Vasylieva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I see different reviews here but my friend and I visited this place in February 2022 and we enjoyed Vela Latina quite a lot. We actually came maybe 15 mins earlier than the place had to open but the barman kindly greeted us and let us in. Design of the place is stunning. Prices for the drinks are one of the highest I have witnessed in Lisbon (even comparing to cocktail specialised bars) but the cocktails were exactly what we paid for. Overall, from my experience, this is a very cool place in a great location in Belem, fantastic design, superb service and delicious cocktails. Plan to come back again to check whether this place is always as good and whether food is as impressive as their cocktails.
