★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luri and Fiona took the time to understand what each person in the group wanted from the week. They managed to take care of finding a perfect mix of steep challenging rides, steady rolling rides and strava segment chasing for those that wanted it. Always felt looked after, safe and challenged. The surprise bonus was having the chance to have a swim session coached by Fiona. Such a hands on passionate team was a rare find. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a seasoned “Training Camp” attendee I had a good idea of what to expect when we arrived in Portugal. However I was simply blown away by the experience I had with luri and Fiona. Not only is the scenery amazing and the variety of rides (from very challenging mountain days to rolling coastal spins),I also benefited it from one to one coaching from an actual “pro” and by the end of the holiday my descending and cornering had improved 10 fold, unbelievable!!
The team at Velo are passionate about what they do and that really shows, we were looked after so well and there was nothing that hadn’t been thought of on terms of customer care.
The hotel is perfect for this type of trip with great food and comfy beds and the location is ideal . The guys were able to adapt the routes to cater for any change in conditions , our group of mixed ability cyclists became great friends and were able to push ourselves whilst enjoying the rides together.
Nothing was too much trouble for the team. I can honestly say this is the best value, most organised trip I have been on with the most welcoming, experienced hosts you could ask for. You HAVE to get on one of their camps!!!

Veloperformance organised an excellent week of riding along scenic routes on quiet roads in the Algarve. Iuri and Fiona provided great support and made this a memorable week. Their local knowledge allowed for routes that catered to riders of a range of abilities. One of the best organised trips I have been on.
Will be back in 2019!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luri and Fiona went out of their way to ensure everyone had a fantastic week of cycling. The accommodation was clean and tidy. Food was plentiful and tasty. The cycling was amazing taking in the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Algarve. What better way to discover the quiet backroads of Portugal. Suitable for most levels of cyclist. Great holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A brilliant week organised by Velo Performance. Luri and Fiona made us feel extremely welcome, and were incredible guides. The routes were veried and taloured to what we fancied. They are both great cyclists and helped, coached and supported us through the rides going over and above to give us a great holiday. Fiona's swimming coaching was really useful and will definitely help my speed. The Algarve is a hidden cycling gem.
A great week and couldn't recommend the trip enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined Velo Performance for a weeks training camp with three friends this April (2018). Our hosts Iuri and Fiona looked after us from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. We covered 390 miles during our stay and cycled every day exploring both the coast and hills of the Algarve region. Our holiday was great value and the roads travelled were largely quiet and in better shape than we are now used to in the UK. The cafe stops were always interesting and conspicuously cheap, try the Portugeuse pastries, you will earn them!! I have been organising a yearly cycle trip with friends since 2002 and this is up there in my top two so far; I will be returning.
