★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely, atmospheric hotel, which is spotlessly clean and has very friendly and professional staff.
It's a mere 10 minute walk from the main centre of Aveiro, its canals, and the bar and restaurant area.
Whilst activities in Aveiro itself are somewhat limited after the first day, the hotel is just a 10 minute drive away from the coast and its spacious white beeches.
The Veneza Hotel offers on-site parking and a bar which stays open until late (ideal after returning from a day on the coast).
If you're heading to Aveiro or the nearby coast, I'd definitely recommend the Veneza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, nice and guest friendly hotel in a small town. We stayed here during oyr trip from Lisbon to Porto. Quality/price is perfect for the guests. Don’t forget to visit nearby town Costa Nova???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hospitality, super friendly staff, clean room and made every day. Breakfast is good, rich and provided. You will not hear any noise in your room, excepting a nice rooster that wakes you up in the morning. A good surprise, i recommand!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a lovely place to stay. The room I had was very large and spacious, with excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was also large with shower and a bath and toiletries provided. The room had a desk too with large wardrobe and safe. Wifi was included and also breakfast which was a buffet available each morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We felt very safe in the Veneza Hotel. The breakfast was served by a delightful employee as opposed to a typical open buffet. We made selections from a list the night before.
The hotel is very close to the train station.

Rooms comfortable. All of these with the price of 3 stars!
