★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tróia is a paradise on earth. Nearby Lisbon, you have two.options to reach Tróia, the fastest being to go by car from Lisbon down to Setúbal and from there 2 options are available: a ferry or a catamaran.
Taking your car turns out to be more expensive but it gives you the freedom to explore the vast array of beaches with or without lifeguards.
The variety of restaurants in the area (from Tróia down to Carvalhal) provides you with an explosion of tastes, comprising fish, seafood, meat and vegetables locally produced.
This is an outstanding place, but watch out! The sea temperature is around 17 / 18⁰ Celsius. The hot air invites you to refresh in crystal clear waters where it is still possible to see dolphins (if you are lucky).
