Phantastisch. Heute 14.30 Uhr eingekehrt. Sehr phantasievolles gesundes Salat Buffet und aufmerksamer Service. Hähnchen und Rindfleisch perfekt gebraten, die Kartoffelchips handgemacht, ein Gedicht. Sehr zu empfehlen nach einem Strandspaziergang.

Little gem on the road to Praia Nascente with a good menu, good food and cheap drinks. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

In an excellent location, just outside Praia Grande in Armação de Pêra , Vila Paradis offers a very warm welcome. The setting is simple, but dining al fresco on the back terrace is certainly enjoyable. We were however quite disappointed with the food. We couldn't get any of the items displayed in the attractive menu posted at the entrance, but were offered a choice of beef steak or pork chop, all served with chips. The meat was not of the best quality, bland, dry and overcooked. The chips were just out of the frozen packet. The salad was uninspiring. All in all, we are in no hurry to come back.

A group of us always have lunch here on Fridays after our morning walk. Very friendly clean and great menu. Always good

Excellent food and great service from the really friendly proprietors. Recommend lunch or afternoon tea there after a visit to the beach or bird watching nearby.

Christophe and Lauran are newly-arrived from Burgundy, France, and have brought their gastronomic savoir-faire with them: lucky us! The restaurant is idyllically placed just inside the protected land that stretches down to the beaches of Galé, Salgados, and Praia Grande. Perfect to take a morning walk and admire the flamingoes and other exotic birds, and then relax on the terrasse with a cold glass of wine before having a sumptuous lunch in either of the indoor dining rooms. Prices for their wonderful French (and Portuguese) cuisine, and wines, are very reasonable, and Christophe provides a different plat du jour every day (for just €8.50). You must visit!

Good value for money. Good choice and service. Unusually the road was busy and noisy. Great atmosphere sitting outside but just too close to the traffic. Will try again after the holiday period.
