At check in, she didn't even look like she wanted to be there, did not tell us about breakfast until I had to ask and I still don't know what time the check out is. During breakfast you can hear discussions in the background and you can see their faces with no desire to be nice to people. Not even a good morning. And with such a big hotel, there is no parking. Not even some help telling you where you can park!
W	William Nelson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful property and nice room with the balance of a quiet neighborhood, yet occasional large gatherings in the restaurant and bar. The only issue was there wasn't anywhere nearby to get groceries without a car, and my room didn't have any refrigerator so I made my stay short.

R	Rose O'Reilly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel itself is clean and in a lovely location for the birds and the trees and for the beach which is a 10 minute walk away. However, there is no entertainment, you do not get the option of a kettle in your room so have to buy tea and coffee at the bar, which proved expensive. The breakfast was nice but not worth the price they wanted and the dinner was very expensive, we found we had to eat out. The decor is very dated, but, again, it is clean. I wouldn't stay there again though as the bus service from the hotel is very limited with one bus service (no 441). It is expensive using the buses all the time and too far to walk into Sintra. The tram only works at the weekend and once you try it, you wont use it again as it is slow and very noisy and uncomfortable.
M	MHP on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous Hotel, 1950s Art Deco style. A true time machine. Very calm atmosphere great for families or romantic stay. Large swimming pool with diving boards and a large terrace surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden full of beautiful flowers. A full bar and restaurant as well as an event room and two game rooms. Great location as well. Close to the beaches and other attractions. The service was formidable and very welcoming. The price was more than affordable. One must appreciate the style to fully enjoy this hotel as the hotel continues to respect the era in which it was designed. A true piece of Art.

And the breakfast was not fresh, no fresh fruits not even tomatoes or everything like this, we expect no luxury breakfast but this was really sad, the buns was like air and cheese and ham was not tasty and unfortunately this were the only things to eat there.
A	André da Silveira on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid. The hotel contacted me asking me to cancel my booking because they decided to close on the scheduled dates. The same happened with other members of my family. They also told the hotel that it is the hotel who should cancel it in Booking.com but, according to them, the hotel refused and answered that it has not difficult for us to cancel instead. Well, if the hotel is closing on those dates, in my opinion they should be the ones taking due diligence with Booking.com, not their customers. I don’t know if and when they will decide to put their customers in this situation so I will not risk booking there again. We had to book another hotel at a more expensive price due to the shorter notice.
