About West School of Hospitality and Tourism
O Senior Tourism Academy, é um programa de formação em acção, certificado pelo Turismo de Portugal, I.P. que assenta na combinação entre a aprendizagem e a partilha de saberes e de experiências, numa perspectiva intergeracional.
Dirigido a profissionais e público em geral, com idade acima dos 55 anos, o Senior Tourism Academy pretende incentivar uma atitude proactiva na promoção do bem-estar, reforçando relações interpessoais e sociais, contribuindo para a aquisição ou melhoria de conhecimentos sobre o sector do turismo.
Esta formação decorre nas 12 escolas do Turismo de Portugal, com o seguinte programa:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ensinam como ser turista e viver nos hotéis? Quero apreender! Tava a brincar, piadolas....isto é uma escola onde se ensinam coisas sérias até porque está ao lado do skate Park. Apreendem a fazer bolos e servir à mesa acho eu. Saem daqui pasteleiros e cozinheiros devidamente certificados.
Do they teach you how to be a tourist and live in hotels? I want to apprehend! I was kidding, jokes .... this is a school where serious things are taught, because it is next to Skate Park. I learn to bake cakes and serve at the table, I think. Confectioners and cooks duly leave here.
