★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place seems to be all show and no substance. The smiling and attentive waiter tried his best, but the food simply wasnt up to scratch. We had sardines and anchovies on toast both of which were obviously tinned. How in hell a restaurant can serve rubbish like this when there is fresh fish landed every day less than 100 metres away is beyond me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not the wine bar you expect. Ordered a tawny port, and he gave us Tonic Port. Gave us white port afterwards and charged us 4 premiums.
It's a struggling family business where hospitality has little meaning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say, this was by far the weirdest experience we’ve had eating out. Ordered two shots of tequila, two house white wines, olives and chorizo sausage bread. We never received the olives or tequila. Asked for mustard, received it after we were done eating and were charged for the mustard. As I was about to ask about our olives and tequila, we see our two waitresses cross the road, jump into their car and leave!
A weird experience… didn’t get charged for the olives or tequila though.
