★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can i say about this place. We stumbled upon this restaurant one night and what a find. We had our 3 young children with us and the staff were very attentive and really helped us to have a nice time. Food was off the scale good, i would recommend the Argentinian tenderloin steak which was cooked to perfection (medium rare). Everything about this place is great and i would recommend anyone to visit on there travels as it's not in the touristy area and probably mainly attracts locals. The price here was also a massive surprise considering the quality and quantity of food we had and to say this is value for is an understatement.
Check it out you won't regret it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice food, the restaurant is very inside and the staff are very friendly. The food on all three courses is very nice though is slightly fish heavy, something to be aware off if you are not a fan of fish.
The only downside is that it is quite dark inside the restaurant. Apart from that no complaints.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the food, had seafood platter with polenta, amazing sliced steak, and red wine. So tasty! To top it all, we had ice cream and sorbet. The fig/almond one was the best! We were given some liqueurs to sample for free. Very friendly service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience where traditional cuisine from Algarve is served with great presentation with all the flavours from the original recepes. The price match the quality and service. The wine list is fair and pairs extremely well with food options.
Try the Xerém dish and travel to and ancient Algarve. Will be back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food and great service. Although Xerem is slightly off the beaten track being slightly inland, it's worth the visit and a taxi from Albufeira would only be a few euros. The chef/owner has put a lot of thought into creating an ambience combining attentive staff, a well-run kitchen and a series of creative dishes showcasing local tastes in comtemporary combinations. Strongly recommend sampling a cross-section of the menu on a first visit by enjoying the gourmet menu at €30 which is exceptional value for money for four courses plus fizz and two palate cleansers.
