Yolo Lounge - R. dos Violas

In 2020, YOLO LOUNGE added some vibrancy with a touch of class, into Albufeira old town. Founded by English couple, Paul and Rachael, who opted to live by the moto of ‘YOLO’ and leave their military and teaching careers in the UK to invest in their future in the Algarvian sun; the intention being that ‘YOLO LOUNGE’ would be the, ‘go to’ trendy bar for excellent cocktails and drinks, mouth-watering tapas and superior shisha, all wrapped up in 5 beautifully packaged and distinctly themed areas, and all with an eclectic interior and atmosphere to revel in. The brand essence of 'You Only Live Once' is present in everything we do.

The Lounge 

A truly spectacular lounge with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, embellished with quirky traits of taxidermy and hunting memorabilia, one can enjoy welcoming and luxurious surroundings in this ‘members only club’ style establishment. The Lounge area does not require prior booking. 

 

Secret Garden

Buried away from the hustle and bustle that is Albufeira, our Secret Garden; built against the sandstone rockface, is a haven to relax in the sun. Adorned with an abundance of flora and fauna, you can chill out and enjoy listening to the sound of the waterfall, while enjoying our fabulous selection of food and drinks. The Secret Garden also plays host to regular live music from our band stand area. 

 

The Cave

Dug deep within the rockface of our Secret Garden, lies The Cave. An enticing little snug, enhanced with torches and twinkling lights, is available for private events, and our packages. Please ask us for more details. 

 

Tiki Bar 

A tropical oasis clad with bamboo and foliage as far as the eye can see, a habitat suitable for any warrior or warrior princess, amongst the ropes and vines, you may just find some other inhabitants, including our DJ. 

 

Arabian RoofTop 

Home to our lavishly decorated and exclusive VIP areas, here you can soak in the ambiance and view of the Old Town square, while sampling some of our finest shisha. Exotic cocktails and meze boards, along with the sumptuous furnishings will transport you in to a mystical and magical Arabian experience. 

The Tallyho Package 

The quintessential ‘Gentleman’ should always start the day right, with a spot of clay pigeon shooting, before being greeted at YOLO LOUNGE to feast on the Wild Boar’d’ sharing platter, with ones companions, while sampling one of our finest tipple selection from our cabinet. You could also partake in a cigar with the chaps, for an additional fee.

Arabian Nights Package 

Absorb some Arabian charm in either a traditional belly dancing show or get moving and learn to do it all yourself, set in our RoofTop bar, you can enjoy a selection of sharing meze plates with an exotic drink of your choice from our package menu. 

You may also wish to add to your experience with one of our fine, hand crafted Shisha available for an additional fee.

Boozy Brunch  

The ultimate breakfast board, you’ll not know whether to climb it or dig in… with all the traditional cooked breakfast favourites, as well as, for an entire hour and a half you are welcome to drink as much as you can drink! From a selection of bottomless beer, mimosa or sangrias.

Picnic fit or a Princess 

Enjoy Afternoon tea in the Secret Garden, with fine china and platters of scones, sandwiches, pies and cakes. Served with unlimited tea or coffee.

Cocktail Shaker Package  

Our resident mixologist will host you in the Tiki bar and teach you to make 3 of your own cocktails, from a selection. You’ll play some drinking games and be in with a challenge, where boobie prizes await the sore losers… 

A selection of tapas style snacks are served alongside the cocktails to ensure the night is young. Our mixologist will also treat you to a cocktail you don't have to make yourself.
