Small but nice and totally enough for a short visit to lisboa

It's croudy and stinky sometimes but best place to visit the city. Tram 28E must be taken :)

Great location and value for money but certainly not sound proof.

Great location to be, walking distance to places of interest, parks, restaurants, cafe, pubs, shops, museums and all the fun that downtown lisbon has to offer. If you are renting a car, parking can be a problem, but not impossible.

first of all it is false that the apartment has 35m2 ... it is smaller. Not for more than two people. House is old with old infrastructure. weak water supply in shower. Small rooms,and without closets at all. the bedroom window looks into the wall. When you sit you have a feeling that you can fall in the middle of the room because of the tilted floor.

Really nice place close to touristic areas, lovely panoramic view from up the hill. The only downise is that there are many bars on that street and it can get pretty noisy outside (if you use the sofa. The room behind is quieter).

It was a nightmare! Bairro Alto in Lisbon is a very exiting place to stay, but the apartment was a disaster. We were four adults staying there. The heat outside was then 30 degrees and of course we needed an air conditioner. They had there two a/c, but neighter of them was working. The remote control said it was 16 degrees inside but the machine said it was 30 degrees inside. After a day outside it´s nice to have a working a/c, at least if you have paid for it. Otherwise the apartment was tiny and not big enough for four adults. Two of us were sleeping in the bedroom and two of us on the couch, which was too big to be in that room. The photos we had been send in advance were not from that apartment. We had to pay cash before even seeing the place. It was a big mistake! Also the apartment was dirty, uncomfortable and full of the owners stuff so that there was no place to put your things to. They got new a/c -machines because we made a reclamation, but nothing changed. It was unbearable to be inside. Also the kitchen was so tiny that we had to put the table in front of the door so that everybody could eat the breakfast. The fridge´s door did not have room enough to open up. There was supposed to be a landmark, witch you could see from the window. There was only a pink wall to see! I´m glad we got out of there before the heat in Lisbon got up to 40 degrees!
