★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though we sat outside (because we took our dog...) it was a very pleasant experience. The food was superb. The lamb apparently melted in your mouth (I don't eat lamb, but my kids do and they loved it) and the fish soup was delicious...I had it as a meal and it was more than enough. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the only complaint we had was that everyone seemed to be served before us...but that's always the case when one is starving, lol. I have to say that all the dishes flying off to other tables looked divine. We peeked inside the restaurant and it had a very pleasant ambiance, beautifully decorated and very clean.
Thorough recommend it.

We couldn't make up our mind about which desert to have, so the waiter made up a Tapas version of desert, at no extra cost!
If you've had enough from the multitude of "Snack Bars" in Monchique, this is a gem of a restaurant.
Top food, top service.
