M	Mark Powers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Portuguese love their roasted baby pigs, as sandwiches or the main dish. The skin turns crispy (did I mention that I like crispy?) and golden brown during the roasting process. The better places (like this one) serve a sauce (or molho) on the side that tastes of salt, garlic and other herbs. Exquisite! If you speak Portuguese the staff (always welcoming) are extra nice. If you're avoiding carbs, they are happy to give you your pork with some salad, instead of as a sandwich!

The bread was properly toasted and had the perfect mouth-feel to accompany the meat. The accompanying sauce was a delicate mix of garlic, black pepper, and the pork au jus. All together the ingredients were married into what became a perfect sandwhich. It was wonderful. Additionally, the shop was new and clean and the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly.

I prefer the ones like this, in the smaller streets, with fair prices, friendly people and no mass handling. A small friendly nice restaurant :)
