The rooms are very well decorated, with care and detail. Maria and her family are one of a kind. You need to go to understand. You need to stay to understand. Homemade Food amazing (breakfast, lunch and dinner), made with love and passion
T	Tinka Jongerius on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most amazing places I have ever been! If you want to stay in an relaxing atmosphere with perfect rooms this is your place! Maria is the best host ever she takes perfect care of you. The breakfast and optionel diner are delicious. There is also much to do in the surrounding area and Maria gives the best tips for hidden hikes and swimming spots. Every detail was just perfect!!

A	Alexandra Silva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked it but we wouldn't go back. Pros: The view is amazing. The room and kitchen are very clean and we'll decorate. The host is extremely nice and very dedicated to their guests. Cons: There is a big table and contrarily to what hotels/hostels are doing, the breakfast is not served in different slots. In our case, we had breakfast at same time as other couple, seated right next to us which was not very comfortable. As the kitchen was huge, you don't feel comfortable to talk or enjoy breakfast like this. Despite we had a good rest, with an excellent view and very instagramable breakfast, I think it is very expensive for a guesthouse as it is not comparable to a 5* hotel. For the same price, we stood in other 5* hotels in the area.
S	Sam Higgins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really lovely stay in a converted farmhouse an hour or so from Porto. Acted as a good base to explore further into the Douro valley. The rooms are stylish, bright and airy. The bnb has a home stay vibe with a kitchen in the main area to borrow glasses and bits you need. The host is friendly and makes incredible breakfasts with fresh produce and homemade jams/cakes. Really friendly and kind hospitality. Thanks!

The whole stay was made even better by the attention of Marisa for whom nothing was too much trouble. She's a friendly, lovely, warm and very helpful person. She gives a lot of tips and makes time for her guest.The breakfast was great, homemade and delicious with huge portions!

Cosy fires every night and delicious breakfast every morning with persimmons, kiwis and clementines from their fruit trees. Jacinta would offer her tasty soups made from the vegetables from the garden. Antonio would offer to pair it with his fresh wine from their vineyard. Maria and Amanda, their daughters, and Lizette were incredibly welcoming and helpful as well. Beautiful views and hikes. Cute towns and vineyards to visit nearby. Porto is a quick hour drive or train ride away. Comfortable place for digital nomads too! Highly recommended.

She also recommended us some nice wineries to visit and places for hiking nearby. The rooms are very nice and super clean. The breakfast was the best. The atmosphere is very calming and cozy.
