★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the owners served lunch for Lyndsey and me today. Wish I had written down his Portuguese name, as there is no way I can recall it. He was extremely personable. He offered suggestions on beer and traditional Porto Portugal plates. Lyndsey and I went with Francesinha and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great atmosphere, service, and food. If I have a return to Barcelos I will definitely visit his restaurant again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fabulous restaurant. It was extremely busy with locals, but they managed to find us a table. The manager was brilliant, friendly, and offered good advice on the food. The food itself was superb, good portion sizes at a very reasonable price. The wine was also excellent. Despite being extremely busy service was attentive and friendly too, the whole staff seemed to like their work and it gave a great atmosphere to the place. Highly recommended!
