Bad experience. I've been waiting for over 20 minutes and haven't been answered. Go ahead. Very bad environment. Owner is indifferent employees. I find it difficult for me to have the opposite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely brilliant food. My wife and I were staying in the area and we decided to give this place a try. We pitched up and it was immediately obvious that they weren't used to foreign tourists eating there. It was very 'local,' with old men drinking port at the bar, no menu, and no one spoke a word of English. We might as well have arrived from Mars. However, with enough pointing and nodding we ordered grilled cod and grilled octopus. The lady behind the bar went out of her way to make us feel welcome, despite the language barrier. The food was cooked to perfection - simple and delicious flavours. The portions were huge and we left very satisfied. It was honestly some of the best food we had in Portugal. Everyone was lovely, including the other customers, who did their best to help us order, even though they didn't speak any English and we didn't speak any Portugese. It was a great experience and a great meal. A total wild card, but brilliant.
