★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are professional and friendly, the starter was delicious, crab pate. The main course, Bacalhau lagar was large and well presented but unfortunately lacked taste.
The wine, a Douro beautiful and to finish the dessert was also delicious.
Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really in the heart of Mafra there is this very traditional Portuguese restaurant. The place is quite big but its always crowded, i recommend make a reservation that is only possible to do until 12h30. Excellent food and service. The dear steak is quite tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is recommended by a number of online and printed guides for a reason — the location and ambience is super and the food is so so good!! Our server (Rui or Hugo, I’m sorry I’m confused now but hopefully we meet in India) gave us very welcome advice on what to order. The seafood risotto for 1 person was more than both of us could eat!!! Very generous portions, affordabily priced and with great service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic regional and traditional Portuguese food restaurant right in the centre of Mafra.
The restaurant is very close to the convent and the interior does remind you of an old, charming, rustic building.
The food is very authentic, the menu has plenty of choice, including fresh meat cuts a fresh fish. The portions are enormous.
