★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most delightful surprise of the Camino! Fernanda and her husband are the most gracious of hosts and they make sure you have an extraordinary experience there. The accommodations are excellent and very comfortable. The food was outstanding! We made lasting friendships during that stay! Like others, I give it 5 stars because that’s the limit; but I’d gladly give 10! I’d love to return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best Albergue on your way to Santiago! If you miss it, you miss half the experience. Fernanda is great host, funny and kind-hearted. The food is like from your grandma's wildest dreams and beds are comfy. In her garden, you feel like on a planet paradise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the, if not THE Crown Jewel along the Camino Portugues. A home far away from home. If you don’t care about the Spirit of Pilgrimage, don‘t go here. Find a hotel near by, BUT if you do or if you’re curious enough and want to find out more about it, GO THERE! Fernanda and her family are a true inspiration and a tremendous blessing for the Camino Community. My heart is full of gratitude for what she does and incorporates for 20 years now. Thank you Fernanda.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa da Fernanda is a must stop for any pilgrims. This lovely family has dedicated themselves to hosting pilgrims for 20 years so they are full heart and soul into the camino.
The place is great has an amazing atmosphere, the food is soooo good and Fernanda her husband and daughter will make ur trip worthwhile :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would do the Caminho again just to stay here one more time. Fernanda and her husband are so welcoming and kind. They invited us into their home and made us an incredible meal. We had nice conversations and drank lots of wine. The sleeping accommodations are comfortable and Fernanda makes sure you have enough blankets to keep plenty warm. The bathroom is also very clean and the shower has hot water. Such a nice stop on this long journey. Thanks so much for the hospitality! Kind people like this make this trip so much better.
