Primavera Grill is the name of our restaurant. In the “Sacret Land of Bread” - Alentejo, we reap the best products of the lands and fields of Vila Viçosa and serve them to your table after being touched by the tenderness, dedication, originality and a passion for the culinary art. In this land, Florbela Espanca has sang “the flower and honey that life promised”. At Primavera Grill restaurant you can discover all these real promises of unforgettable flavours presented with great sophistication.
At the Lobby and Pool Bar you can find a menu that appeals to the roots of this region in a more relaxed and “Alentejano” service.
Inserted into a natural marble quarry, the Stone Spa with the brand Bruno Vassari, famous for its vinotherapy treatments, is the maximum exponent of tranquility and relaxation. The Spa has 4 treatment rooms, hamman, heated whirlpool pools, interior and exterior heated pools and a fitness room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super attentive staff and a very pleasant hotel, very well located in the center of the city. The rooms and bathroom are big, clean and well equipped (not sure about the tv on the mirror). The spa area is very good, the hot tanks were a great discovery. The indoor pool has beautiful blue and gold tiles that just adds to an overall great experience.
Free wifi and indoor parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing hotel, with great service, staff set in a very nice town. The spa is just wonderful and the indoor outdoor pool area is very nice. The hotel is full of the local marble which makes it quirky and unique. The bedroom was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was huge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. Hotel is located across a larger parking place but close to everything. Checkin was smooth even so it takes longer as expected. Friendly and supportive bell man and receptionist. Upgrade to a larger room with large balcony facing the pool. Comfortable room and shower. Now the downsides: lack of style and ambience. The combination of marble from different parts of Europe might be expensive but doesn’t fit well, bad taste. Pool is crowded and noisy with insufficient space. Internet is pretty poor - room and public spaces. Breakfast is a joke for a hotel that considers itself “luxury and 5 star”. Due to Covid fixed seating times but with partial buffet service. Nearly all tables still dirty when we arrived. Ambience of a waiting hall. Buffet poorly filled after 10/15 min of your seating time. Coffee/juice/simple scrambled eggs to be picked up at a different station with insufficient staffing. Be aware: a Nespresso capsule in room cost 4 €!
Overall: The friendly, attentive staff tried hard to make up for bad taste combined with poor management. Far away from „luxury“ or a 5 star Hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved our stay at this hotel! The staff were all first class and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We stayed three nights at this hotel and didn't want to leave. We can't say enough about how outstanding the customer service was on every level, from the moment we arrived until we checked out (with a special thanks to Luis D.!). The rooms were clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We would also highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant as the food was outstanding- try the lamb! Vila Vicosa is a unique and beautiful place. Treat yourself and stay here when you visit the region.
