★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is in a great location with high quality food and excellent service.
I'd give 5 stars but there is only one vegetarian option on the entire menu (a tiny couscous/beet salad). It was good, and the chef will make a vegetarian risotto or pasta for you if you ask, but it is not a vegetarian friendly menu.
That said the quality of the food and service is excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant! We had the tastingmenu and everything was perfect, all the dishes, the meat, the fish, it was all perfect!! Especially the sommelier Miguel, he had chosen the perfect wines for all the dishes and had great stories about it. It was a very good dinner Experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like me a fine-dining restaurant set in a beautiful, five-star setting, Astoria definitely ticks this box. Located in the Inter-Continental Porto Palacio das Cardosas, Astoria is a glamorous and classy restaurant, perfect for impressing potential romantic or business partners.
The service was great: fast, respectful, and friendly. I felt very welcomed.
We shared a steak tartare for a starter, followed by a cod and steak main. We finished the meal with a lovely chocolate and coconut cake with avocado ice-cream. The presentation was beautiful and the food tasty.
A very enjoyable evening, thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the sets of 3 courses menu, which is not really ok, the main dish is pork belly, which the taste is very normal, flat, the meat should be tender and juicy, but i think is overcook, very dry and hard. I would say that is no qualify in 5 starts hotel.
services also no good, the glass is empty for so many time and hard to find people come to serve.
the drink list also poor...., really need to improve it.
the only good is environment. haha
