★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve visited Atascado a few times over the years and always have a great meal. The staff are very attentive and the rooftop has a good view of the town. The local Arcado was great as was the seafood and Portuguese steak. See you next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely meal, our daughter had the clams for starters I had the garlic mushrooms and my husband had the flame grilled sausage..Which were all fabulous, I then had the fillet of sea bass stuffed with prawns which was delicious our daughter had the steak but wasn't overly gone on it, my husband had the ribs which he enjoyed..All in all we had a lovely time..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great visit. Very cosy and atmospheric place combined with tasty and reasonably priced food, which is not that common in a touristy location.
Very appreciated the friendly service and the house medronho (wild strawberry spirit). My hubby was happy to recall his younger years spent in Alvor and Portimão.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an OK meal, it could have been great but for the following reasons: The garlic mushrooms were sliced too small, were very oily & not very garlicky!
The Lamb Shank was delicious as
was the jus/gravy but I had to eat it quickly as it was served on a cold plate!
Quick fix: Serve mushrooms whole with more garlic and serve mains on warm plates!
Overall staff we're very friendly & attentive, ambience was great, my friends said their steaks were very good & the menu is reasonably priced!
We will be back!
